Will Glock 17 mags fit a Glock 19 or 26?
The Glock 17, 19 and 26 all take the same double-stack 9mm magazine, just in different lengths. A longer magazine works in a shorter grip; a shorter one goes in a longer grip but sits up inside it.
The Short Answer
- Yes, G17 mags work in a G19 and a G26. They lock in and feed, and stick out below the grip.
- G19 mags work in a G26 the same way, and the long 21 and 24-round mags work in all three.
- Going the other way is the problem: a shorter magazine sits up inside a longer grip. It locks in, but you can't grab it to strip it out.
- A sleeve or a grip extension can fill the gap when a longer magazine sticks out.
