Can you put a Glock 48 slide on a 43X frame?
The Glock 43X and 48 use the same frame and the same magazines. The 48 just has a longer slide and barrel, so swapping between them is one of the easiest upgrades in the Glock lineup.
The short answer
- Yes. The G43X and G48 share a frame, so a G48 slide fits a G43X frame and a G43X slide fits a G48 frame.
- The barrel and recoil spring must match the slide: a G48 slide needs the G48 barrel and G48 spring.
- Slimline MOS slides take the Shield RMSc footprint. An RMR is too wide for these slides.
- Double-stack Glock trigger parts won't fit; use slimline parts.
